Russian-born silk painter Natasha Foucault and co-author Jeanne-Michele Salander, will read from, "Silk Diary: An Artist’s Journey from Moscow to Mendocino." The memoir is an exciting tale of adventure, travel, romance, art, and intrigue.

Following the book talk Natasha will demonstrate painting on silk.

Glen Park Festival

The annual Glen Park Festival is happening this Sunday! Come say hi to us at the Library booth that we are sharing with the Friends of the San Francisco Public Library.

We will have a prize wheel for kids so they can try for a chance to win a book or another prize.

An Afternoon of Japanese Culture

Please join us for an afternoon of Japanese snacks, music and crafts.

On Saturday, April 10 from 1:00- 4pm.


Koto player Shoko Hikage will perform from 1:30-2:30.


Suminagashi, Japanese paper marbling, will be offered by Urban Fauna at 3:00. The craft class is for ages 10 and up.
